Mirasur School today held one of the most special events of its academic calendar: the awarding of its Excellence Scholarships, a recognition that celebrates the effort, dedication, and commitment of its students. This year, the winners who will enjoy full tuition and school fees coverage are Sofía Haro and Li Shao Han, from 2nd Year of Baccalaureate; Aitana Alonso López and Jaime García Corral, from 1st Year of Baccalaureate; and Mercedes García Hernández and Inés Calvo Fernández, from 4th Year of ESO.

The ceremony was filled with excitement shared among students, families, and teachers. Juana Corral, Head of Secondary and Baccalaureate, expressed the school’s pride in seeing student effort rewarded: “This is a moment of great pride and joy. We are recognizing students who work incredibly hard, who get involved in school life, and who are true ambassadors of Mirasur School wherever they go. They have grown with us, and it is an honor to see how all their learning efforts finally bear fruit.”

She also emphasized the importance of these scholarships as a source of motivation for the entire community: “The school makes a significant economic effort because we believe it is essential to value our students’ work and reward all that they contribute to our educational project.”

Along the same lines, the school’s principal, Pedro Sampedro, underlined that this recognition belongs to the whole educational community: “Today we are celebrating not only these students, but also their families and the entire school. The excellence we reward does not appear overnight; it is the result of constant, responsible work. Although only a few can receive this scholarship, many others are also extraordinary. The families of the award-winning students also shared their gratitude. One father noted: “We are very thankful and proud. For our daughter, this recognition is truly special, the result of consistent effort. What matters most is that she continues to enjoy her learning, just as she has until now.” Another mother highlighted the motivational power of the scholarship: “This initiative is excellent. It is a great source of motivation for students and encourages them to keep giving their best.”

The students themselves summed up their achievement with a simple but powerful message: “The key is to work with consistency, stay well-organized, and never give up.”
