Child-centred methodology
Educational Stage: Ages 1 to 3
Pre-School at Mirasur covers from 12 months to 3 years old — a decisive period for emotional, motor, cognitive, and language development.
We have specific classrooms designed for this stage, created to provide security, calm, and appropriate stimulation. Materials are carefully selected to encourage autonomous exploration and sensory learning.
Starting school at Mirasur from Pre-School allows children to enjoy educational continuity within the same school, providing stability, confidence, and in-depth knowledge of each child by the teaching team.
Bilingual Education from the Early Years
English is naturally present in everyday life, integrated into routines, games, songs, and daily moments. We take advantage of young children’s remarkable ability to acquire languages spontaneously, without pressure and through meaningful experiences.
Early Stimulation and Holistic Development
We work on sensory, motor, cognitive, and emotional stimulation through experiences adapted to each developmental stage, fostering balanced and respectful growth.
Swimming
Swimming is part of the Pre-School educational project at Mirasur School. From an early age, children become familiar with water in a safe and respectful way, developing confidence, coordination, and body awareness.
Through adapted, play-based sessions, water experiences enhance psychomotor development and emotional well-being, also supporting relaxation and breathing control.
Swimming is understood as another educational tool that supports children’s growth and strengthens their autonomy and confidence from the earliest years.
Continuity that Supports Growth
The transition to the second cycle of Early Years Education (ages 3–6) is gradual and carefully guided, maintaining the environment, educational philosophy, and emotional support. This facilitates a natural adaptation process and reinforces children’s confidence as they move into new stages.

Pre-School FAQ's
Mirasur School’s Pre-School is part of the school’s overall educational project. It is not an isolated stage, but the beginning of a coherent educational journey that shares methodology, philosophy, spaces, and ways of supporting students with the rest of the stages. From the very first year of schooling, children receive high-quality education delivered by specialized professionals through carefully designed learning experiences. At Mirasur, Pre-School students benefit from swimming, psychomotricity specialists, music, and English, among others.
Yes. From ages 1 to 3, wearing the school uniform is compulsory. It is specifically designed for this age group, prioritizing comfort, freedom of movement, and well-being.
Menus are prepared daily in the school’s own kitchen under the supervision of the school nutritionist. We guarantee balanced, high-quality meals adapted to allergies, intolerances, and specific needs. During meals, students are accompanied by their classroom teachers. Mealtime is considered an educational routine, and menus are progressively adapted to each child’s development and growth.
Yes. Reduced day: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (without lunch). Full day: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including lunch service. Both options can be complemented with extended morning and afternoon hours. The afternoon service (4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.), including a snack, is free of charge for students with siblings in higher educational stages.
