The curriculum for Early Childhood education in Spain, starting from the age of 3, is based on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Tech Makers: Exploring Creativity and Technology

At Mirasur School, we promote creative learning through the 5Tech Makers subject, where our students can dive into creativity and technology through play. The students in early childhood education begin their journey in the development of computational thinking through programming and robotics, building challenges with Lego and designing and creating video games.

Students learn fundamental skills such as:

Understanding that technology serves to solve problems that people have, not just for consuming content
Developing initial skills in digital content creation
Becoming aware that machines have their own language, and to interact with them, it is necessary to learn and apply it in a specific way
Initiating sequential programming of a robot with movement instructions
Creating a two-dimensional game interface with specific rules and conditions
