Career Opportunities

After completing the Official Vocational Training in Early Childhood you will be prepared for various professional activities including:

  • Educator in the First Cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years)

  • Educator in institutions and/or specific programs working with children (0-6 years) in situations of social risk or in family support environments.

  • Educator in programmes or activities for leisure and free time for children aged 0 to 6 years, such as playrooms, cultural centres, libraries, educational centres, leisure centres, farm schools, etc.

Chromebook


At the beginning of the course each student receives a Chromebook to complete assignments and follow the curriculum. In addition, they acquire digital skills as they develop the necessary abilities to create presentations, videos and professional-quality assignments.

Everything on one Campus


ISEF is located on the Mirasur School Campus, which means that in addition to specific ISEF classrooms, students can visit the learning spaces of Early Childhood Education and enjoy the Mirasur Sports Club as ISEF students.

Access requirements

Direct Access
  • High School Diploma established in the LOE (Organic Law of Education)
  • High School Diploma established in the LOGSE (General Law of the Spanish Education System)
  • Technical Specialist Diploma, Higher Technician Diploma or equivalent for academic purposes
  • Successfully completing the second year of any Experimental High School modality
  • Successfully completing the university orientation course or pre-university course.
  • Holding a university degree or equivalent
  • Possessing a Middle Grade Technician Diploma and successfully completing the specific training course for access to Higher Grades Cycles
  • Passing the university entrance examination for individuals over 25 years old

Access through examination:

  • Individuals who do not meet any of the previous requirements and are at least 19 years old or will turn 19 in the year of the examination

  • Individuals who hold a technical Diploma and are at least 18 years old or will turn 18 in the year of the examination, provided that the completed Middle Grade Cycle belongs to one of the Professional Families included in the chosen examination option

Higher Technician Degree in Early Childhood Education:
  • Registration: €100
  • 1st Year: €2,900 per year
  • 2nd Year: €2,900 per year
